Project Story
Despite Bangkok’s diverse food scene, authentic Peranakan laksa was nearly impossible to find — especially for delivery. We saw an opportunity to introduce bold, chef-driven Malaysian flavours without a shopfront, using our central kitchen and streamlined ops. To ensure authenticity, we partnered with a Malaysian chef from the laksa heartland — guaranteeing the real thing, no shortcuts.

What we did
We built a delivery-first model centred on a single star dish — laksa — to keep operations focused and quality consistent. Partnering with a regional chef allowed us to guarantee authenticity, while our central kitchen and online platform made the entire model possible without a physical storefront. We managed the operational setup and platform logistics — letting the food speak for itself.
The Result
The model proved that a chef-led, delivery-only concept could work without compromise. Orders came in steadily through online platforms, and customer feedback consistently highlighted the depth and authenticity of the laksa. With no storefront overhead and a streamlined production setup, we validated a lean, scalable approach to launching quality-focused food ventures.
